Since the Powermat wireless charging mat debuted at CES 2009, technology companies have been trying to figure out how to get rid of wires and cords once and for all. The problem with the Powermat was that devices could charge only as long as they were encased in a special Powermat-friendly cover. The ElectroHub, however, will fix that: Instead of providing special cases, it will provide special batteries. Just pop those babies into your device, and it will be ElectroHub-compliant and ready to charge, no extra bulk necessary.

Jika Jack Charger USB boleh cas segala jenis telefon bimbit, ElectroHub boleh cas semua jenis barangan elektronik. Sejak munculnya PowerMat sebagai alat pengisi bateri tanpa wayar(Wireless) pertama, kategori pengecas tanpa wayar masih menjadi topic hangat. Di CES 2011 diperkenalkan ElectroHub yang boleh cas Joystick game, iPhone, Smarthpone, Handphone Nokia, remote TV dengan hanya meletakkan barangan tersebut itu di atas ElectroHub.

Tapi tentunya, bukan semua bateri boleh di charge, barangan yang ingin di cas secara tanpa wayar lewat ElectroHub ini harus menggunakan bateri khusus untuk ElectroHub, tentunya dengan casing khusus. Tapi jangan kecewa dulu, untuk beberapa taip smartphone yang tidak boleh dicabut bateri-nya ElectroHub memberikan alternatif dengan casing converter khusus untuk melakukan charging secara tanpa wayar.
